Little Puzzlers Child Care Center, Inc. opened in October 2006 serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our founders have more than 32+ years in Early Childhood Education. It is this experience and the love of children that guide the Little Puzzlers Program and concern for high quality childcare for all children.

Little Puzzlers Child Care Center is open Monday-Friday 6:30AM-6:00PM
excluding holidays listed. We are licensed with the State of Minnesota, for 74 children. 12 infants, 21 toddlers, and 41 Preschoolers.

We accept Childcare Assistance as well as the Early Learning Scholarship.

Meet Our Leadership

Kathy LacQuay

Executive Director

Kathy has 30+ years’ experience in early childhood education. She began her career in 1993 as a Special Education Paraprofessional working with children with autism in St. Cloud School District 742. In 2006 she left the school district to open and become the Director of Little Puzzlers Child Care Center, Inc. In 2016, Kathy took the role of Executive Director of Little Puzzlers Child Care Center, Inc., Sugar Plum North and South Childcare Centers, and in 2018 added Child’s Play of St Cloud MN, Inc. Kathy earned her Educational Assistant Certificate through Ridgewater College and obtained her Early Childhood Directors Credential in 2018.

Stephanie LacQuay

Center Director

Stephanie has over 20 years’ experience working with young children. She was a Lead Toddler Teacher for over a decade before becoming Center Director. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University, and her Director’s Credential from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She also is a licensed Kitchen Manager via her ServSafe certification.
